10th September, 2020: Scrap Gold and Platinum Prices Surged, Silver Dipped on Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and platinum prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked were up on Thursday, 10th September, 2020 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However, the prices of Silver scrap fell marginally over the day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 10.64 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap also went higher by $ 13.64 per Oz and $ 16.66 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices increased by $ 6.82 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased by $ 13.12 per Oz to reach $ 667.87 per Oz. Silver scrap prices declined by $0.24 per Oz to touch $21.84 per Oz when compared with the prior day.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 10.06 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went up by $ 12.90 and $ 15.76 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also increased by $ 6.45 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed up move of $ 13.12 per Oz to reach $ 667.87 per Oz. Silver scrap prices declined by $0.21 per Oz over the previous day.
