BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices mostly remained unchanged on ScrapMonster Price Index as on March 4th, Monday. Steel scrap prices held steady. Meantime, Copper, Brass and Bronze scrap prices witnessed marginal decline over the previous day. Meantime, Aluminum and Stainless Steel scrap prices edged higher on Index.
#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 500 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too tumbled by CNY 500 per MT each.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices dropped by CNY 200 per MT over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too declined by CNY 100 per MT when matched with the day before.
Copper Transformer scrap and Cu Yokes prices fell by CNY 50 per MT each.
Cu/Al Radiator prices were down by CNY 100 per MT.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater Cores prices were down by CNY 50 per MT and CNY 100 per MT respectively on Monday, March 4th, 2019.
Also, Heater Cores, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.
6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots prices too were up by CNY 50 per MT.
Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers remained flat on Index.
E.C Aluminum Wire, Old Cast, Old Sheet prices jumped higher by CNY 50 per MT each on March 4th, 2019.
UBC and Zorba 90% NF prices witnessed no change when compared with the previous day.
#1 HMS prices held steady on 4th March, 2019.
Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.
201 SS prices climbed higher by CNY 100 per MT.
304 SS Solid prices too increased by CNY 200 per MT over the previous day.
The price of 304 SS Turning witnessed a rise of CNY 200 per MT.
309 SS and 310 SS prices witnessed increase of CNY 300 per MT and CNY 400 per MT respectively.
316 SS Solid scrap prices edged higher by CNY 300 per MT over the day on March 4th.
Shred SS prices increased by CNY 200 per MT.
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China declined on Index.
Brass Radiator scrap prices recorded decline by CNY 100 per MT on March 4th, 2019.
Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were down by CNY 100 per MT each on Index.
