BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices surged higher on ScrapMonster Price Index as on July 2nd, Thursday. Aluminum scrap prices declined, whereas Brass and Bronze scrap prices remained unchanged on Index. Stainless Steel scrap and Steel scrap prices held steady.
The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing prices edged higher by CNY 100 per MT each over the previous day.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also was up by CNY 100 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were unchanged. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery held steady over the previous day.
Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.
Cu/Al Radiator prices witnessed no change on Index.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady on Thursday, July 2nd.
Also, Heater Cores, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.
6063 Extrusions witnessed a decline of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots too were down by CNY 50 per MT.
The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers saw no change over the previous day.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices registered decline by CNY 50 per MT.
Old Cast and Old Sheet prices too were down by CNY 50 per MT each on 2nd July, 2020.
UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices held steady on Index.
#1 HMS prices held steady on 2nd July, 2020.
Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.
201 SS, 304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices witnessed no change on Index.
309 SS and 310 SS prices held flat over the prior day.
316 SS Solid scrap prices too were unchanged on July 2nd, 2020.
Shred SS prices remained flat on Index.
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China remained unchanged on Index.
Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady on July 2nd, 2020.
Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were flat on Index.
