The North American copper scrap prices declined marginally on Monday, August 22nd.
22nd Aug, 2016: North American copper scrap prices witness marginal decline

MONTREAL (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices edged marginally lower on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on August 22nd, Monday.

The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing declined by $0.02 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.03 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright too went lower by $ 0.02 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery dropped marginally by $0.01 per Lb over the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices remained unchanged on Index at $0.76 per Lb. #3 Copper-Light copper prices dropped by $0.03 per Lb to reach $1.74 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator scrap held steady from previous day’s levels. Copper Transformer Scrap prices remained unchanged. CuYokes prices too witnessed no change from the previous day. Cu/Al Radiator Ends witnessed no change over the previous day. Meanwhile, the prices of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe witnessed marginal decline of $0.01 per Lb each on August 22nd, 2016.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater cores prices witnessed no change over the previous day.

The price of Romex Wire was flat at $1.18 per Lb when matched with the previous day.

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas Lights maintained the previous day price levels.
