TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American scrap prices mostly declined on ScrapMonster Price Index as on July 2nd, Monday. Copper, Stainless Steel and Aluminum scrap prices declined on Index. Brass and Bronze scrap prices remained unchanged on Index over the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices too were unmoved on Index.
Alternator prices witnessed no change on Index. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing slipped by $0.05 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.05 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright went lower by $ 0.05 per Lb.
The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery declined by $0.02 per Lb. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were down by $0.01 per Lb from the previous day prices. #3 Copper-Light copper prices dropped by $0.05 per Lb.
The prices of Copper Radiator registered decline of $0.01 per Lb over the previous day.
Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no change over the day.
Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe prices were flat.
Cu Yokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices held steady.
Romex Wire prices were unchanged on July 2nd, 2018.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices decreased by $0.01 per Lb.
The prices of Heater Cores too witnessed no change.
Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed units witnessed no change on Index.
Starters and Xmas Lights remained unchanged on Index.
1100 Scrap prices were down by $0.01 per Lb over the day. The prices of 3003 Scrap too declined by $0.01 per Lb. The prices of 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6063 Extrusions/Fe too were down by $0.01 per Lb.
The prices of 6063 Extrusions dropped by $0.01 per Lb over the day.
Meantime, prices of 5052 Scrap and 6061 Extrusions saw marginal decline of $0.01 per Lb each.
The prices of Al/Cu Radiators/Fe and Al/Cu Radiators witnessed no change on Index.
Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Radiators/Fe prices held steady. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices remained unchanged on 2nd July, 2018.
Chrome Wheels and E.C Aluminum Wire prices saw marginal decline by $0.01 per Lb and $0.02 per Lb respectively.
Litho Sheets and MLC Clips dropped marginally by $0.01 per Lb each.
Mixed Aluminum Turnings and UBC prices remained unchanged on Index.
The prices of Old Cast, Old Sheet and Painted Siding dropped marginally by $0.01 per Lb each.
Zorba 90% NF prices held steady on Index.
#1 Bundle prices remained flat over the previous day.
The prices of #1 Busheling and #1 HMS too witnessed no change on 2nd July, 2018.
HMS 80/20 prices held steady on Index.
Sheet Metal, Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel also reported no change in prices in comparison with the previous day.
201 SS and 301 SS prices reported no change.
304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.
304 SS Turning witnessed no change in prices on 2nd July, 2018.
309 SS prices saw no change in price on a daily basis.
310 SS prices witnessed marginal decline by $0.01 per Lb from the prior day.
Meantime, 316 SS Solid and 330 SS prices too were down by $0.01 per Lb each.
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region remained totally flat on Index.
70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap, 85/15 Brass Scrap and Brass Radiator scrap prices reported no change in prices on Monday, July 2nd, 2018.
Brass Radiator /Fe and Brass Radiator Ends prices maintained the previous day price levels.
Red Brass, Red Borings and Yellow Brass prices too remained flat on Index.
