BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese Copper and Aluminum scrap prices declined modestly on ScrapMonster Price Index as on March 22nd, Friday. Stainless Steel, Brass and Bronze scrap prices witnessed slight decline on Index when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady over the day.
#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 450 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined by CNY 450 per MT each.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices dropped by CNY 150 per MT on Index over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices was down by CNY 100 per MT.
Copper Transformer Scrap prices were dropped by CNY 50 per MT on Index when matched with the prior day.
Cu Yokes and Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices too declined by CNY 50 per MT each over the previous day.
Cu/Al Radiator scrap and Heater Cores prices were down by CNY 100 per MT each on Friday, March 22nd.
Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices witnessed no change on Index.
6063 Extrusions witnessed a price decline of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots too dropped by CNY 50 per MT.
The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers remained flat.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 50 per MT.
Old Cast and Old Sheet prices too witnessed a down move of CNY 50 per MT each on 22nd March, 2019.
UBC and Zorba 90% NF prices saw no variation.
#1 HMS prices held steady on 22nd March, 2019.
Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.
201 SS prices were down by CNY 100 per MT on Index.
304 SS Solid, 309 SS and 316 SS Solid scrap prices declined by CNY 250 per MT each.
The price of 304 SS Turning prices dropped by CNY 150 per MT on March 22nd, 2018..
310 SS prices were down by CNY 350 per MT.
Shred SS prices too edged lower by CNY 100 per MT over the day.
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China declined on Index.
