TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices tumbled on ScrapMonster Price Index as on January 21st, Tuesday. Aluminum and Steel scrap prices witnessed no change on Index. Stainless Steel, Brass and Bronze scrap prices declined over the previous day.
The price of Alternator scrap remained flat over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing dropped by $0.03 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were down by $0.03 per Lb when compared with the prior day. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright too dropped by $0.03 per Lb.
The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery witnessed marginal decline by $0.01 per Lb over the day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were down by $0.01 per Lb. #3 Copper-Light copper prices recorded decline by $0.03 per Lb from previous day’s level.
The prices of Copper Radiator scrap declined by $0.01 per Lb from previous day’s levels. Copper Transformer Scrap prices remained unchanged. CuYokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices witnessed no change from the previous day.
Meanwhile, the prices of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe held steady on January 21st, 2020.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater cores prices were down by $0.01 per Lb each.
The price of Romex Wire inched down by $0.01 per Lb during the day.
The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas Lights saw no change from previous day price levels.
1100 Scrap prices remained flat over the day. The prices of 3003 Scrap too were steady on Index. The prices of 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6063 Extrusions/Fe too were unchanged.
The prices of 6063 Extrusions held steady over the day.
Meantime, prices of 5052 Scrap and 6061 Extrusions remained flat when compared with the previous day.
The prices of Al/Cu Radiators and Al/Cu Radiators/Fe remained flat. Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Radiators/Fe prices held steady. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices remained unchanged on January 21st, 2020.
Chrome Wheels and remained flat on Index.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices edged higher by $0.01 per Lb over the previous day.
Litho Sheets and MLC Clips witnessed no change from previous day’s levels.
Mixed Aluminum Turnings prices too remained unchanged.
The prices of Old Cast and UBC saw no change over the previous day.
Old Sheet, Painted Siding and Zorba 90% NF prices too held steady.
#1 Bundle prices remained flat over the previous day.
The prices of #1 Busheling and #1 HMS too witnessed no change on 21st January, 2020.
HMS 80/20 prices held steady on Index.
Sheet Metal, Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel also reported no change in prices in comparison with the previous day.
201 SS prices held steady on Index.
301 SS prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb.
304 SS Solid prices too were down by $0.01 per Lb over the previous day.
304 SS Turning witnessed decline by $0.01 per Lb on 21st January, 2020.
309 SS and 316 SS Solid scrap prices dropped by $0.02 per Lb each.
310 SS and 330 SS prices edged lower by $0.02 per Lb each from the prior day.
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region declined on Index.
70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap and 85/15 Brass Scrap prices dropped by $0.02 per Lb each on Tuesday, January 21st, 2020.
Brass radiator scrap prices were down by $0.01 per Lb.
Brass Radiator /Fe and Brass Radiator Ends prices maintained the previous day price levels.
Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices were down by $0.02 per Lb each.
Meantime, Rob Borings prices recorded decline by $0.01 per Lb on Index.
