The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing increased marginally by $0.02 per Lb over the previous day.
1st June, 2018: North American Scrap Metal Prices Rose Marginally on Index

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American scrap metal prices witnessed marginal uptick on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on June 1st, Friday. Brass and Bronze scrap prices were up marginally. Meantime, Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel scrap prices witnessed no change on Index. Copper scrap prices registered marginal increase.

Copper Scrap Prices

The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing increased marginally by $0.02 per Lb over the previous day. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.02 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright edged higher by $0.02 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery were up slightly by $0.01 per Lb over the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices held steady. #3 Copper-Light copper prices were up by $0.02 per Lb.

Copper Radiator scrap remained unchanged on Index.

The prices of Copper Transformer scrap saw no change on Index. Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices too remained unchanged.

Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe prices witnessed no variation.

Meanwhile, the prices of Cu Yokes saw no change from the previous day prices on June 1st, 2018.

Heater Cores and Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices stayed flat on Index.

Romex Wire prices stood unchanged over the previous day.

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Starters, Sealed units and Xmas Lights witnessed no change on Index.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

1100 Scrap prices remained flat over the day. The prices of 3003 Scrap too were unchanged. The prices of 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6063 Extrusions/Fe too held steady on Index.

The prices of 6063 Extrusions saw no variation in prices.

Meantime, prices of 5052 Scrap and 6061 Extrusions remained flat on Index.

The prices of Al/Cu Radiators and Al/Cu Radiators/Fe held steady. Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Radiators/Fe prices held steady. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices remained unchanged on 1st June, 2018.

Chrome Wheels remained flat on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices held steady over the previous day.

Litho Sheets and MLC Clips witnessed no change from previous day’s levels.

Mixed Aluminum Turnings prices too remained unchanged.

The prices of Old Cast and UBC saw no change over the previous day.

Old Sheet, Painted Siding and Zorba 90% NF prices too held steady.

 Steel Scrap Prices

#1 Bundle prices remained flat.

The prices of #1 Busheling and #1 HMS too reported no change on 1st June, 2018.

HMS 80/20 prices held steady when compared with the previous day.

Sheet Metal, Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel also saw no change in prices when compared with the previous day.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS and 301 SS prices reported no change.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

304 SS Turning witnessed no variation in prices on 1st June, 2018.

309 SS and 310 SS prices saw no change in price on a daily basis.

330 SS prices were flat.

Meantime, 316 SS Solid prices witnessed no variation on Index.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region rose marginally on Index.

70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap and 85/15 Brass Scrap prices were up by $0.03 per Lb.

Brass Radiator scrap prices edged higher by $0.03 per Lb.

Brass Radiator /Fe and Brass Radiator Ends prices reported no change in prices on Friday, June 1st, 2018.

Red Brass, Red Borings and Yellow Brass prices were up by $0.02 per Lb each.
