BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices declined sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index as on October 11th, Thursday. Stainless Steel, Aluminum prices dropped on Index when compared with the previous day. Brass and Bronze scrap prices too were down sharply. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.
#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down sharply by CNY 800 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined heavily by CNY 800 per MT each.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have declined by CNY 400 per MT upon comparison with the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices recorded a down move of $250 per MT over the previous day.
Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes prices edged lower by CNY 100 per MT each on Index when matched with the prior day.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices dropped by CNY 100 per MT from the previous day.
Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices were down by CNY 250 per MT.
Heater Cores prices too declined by CNY 200 per MT on Thursday, October 11th.
Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices held steady on Index.
6063 Extrusions witnessed a price decline of CNY 250 per MT over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots too dropped by CNY 250 per MT.
The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers were down by CNY 100 per MT on Index.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 250 per MT on October 11th, 2018.
Old Cast and Old Sheet prices were down by CNY 250 per MT each.
UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices dropped by CNY 150 per MT and CNY 100 per MT respectively on Index.
#1 HMS prices held steady on 11th October, 2018.
Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.
201 SS prices witnessed decline by CNY 100 per MT on Index.
304 SS Solid prices too were down by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day.
The price of 304 SS Turning dropped by CNY 150 per MT on Index.
309 SS and 310 SS prices were down by CNY 200 per MT and CNY 250 per MT respectively when compared with the prior day.
316 SS Solid scrap prices declined by CNY 200 per MT on October 11th.
Shred SS prices were down by CNY 150 per MT in prices over the day.
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China dropped on Index.
Brass Radiator scrap prices were down by CNY 150 per MT on October 11th, 2018.
Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too dropped by CNY 150 per MT each.
